This course is for students who love to create imagery on 2D surfaces. Drawing, painting, printmaking, and multimedia will be explored through a variety of materials and themes.  Explorations will focus on personal, historical and cultural ideas.  Students will learn basic techniques and will be challenged to create unusual and creative pieces.  Students will be expected to keep a visual journal as a record of their ideas, image development and explorations. Basic supplies will be provided to students in order to meet the learning outcomes of all courses.
