This Grade 11 course is delivered inside the timetable and has five key components. Self-awareness is explored and students learn how to incorporate new habits into their day-to-day lifestyle. Students learn about various career pathways and identify areas that match their values and areas of interest. Guest speakers visit the class to speak about specific fields of work; students also go on field trips to learn about opportunities with community partners. Financial literacy is explored in depth. Finally, students are introduced to the Capstone, which is a provincial graduation requirement that they will present in May of their Grade 12 year.
