Chemistry 11 is the first half of an introductory course in Chemistry. The course builds upon units studied earlier in Science 9 and 10. Topics include Chemical Safety, Measurement, Matter, Inorganic Nomenclature, The Mole, Chemical Reactions, Stoichiometry, The Atom, Solution Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. A solid background in mathematics is strongly recommended for students taking chemistry 11.
