In this course, you will work alongside other Script Writers and the teacher to develop a one or two act play to be performed within the course you are enrolled in or for a future drama class. You will navigate character development, develop a writing perspective and consider devices that include, narration, time, inner and outer conflict as well as elements of the stage: lighting, sound, set and prop pieces. You will rely on your own lived experiences to contribute to the development of a stage script. It is recommended that you consider what kind of story you would like to develop prior to the start of course.
