Entrepreneurship and Marketing 9

Students in this course will investigate the risks and benefits of entrepreneurship and the role of social entrepreneurship in First Nation communities.  Studies will cover ways of decreasing production costs through training and technology, the flow of goods and services from producers to consumers and identification of a good or service that ensures brand recognition.  Marketing strategies will cover the 4P’s, market segmentation, and evolving consumer needs and wants.  This will all be rounded up with sources of financing for a new venture or a start-up business and measurement of financial success and failure.
