This course is designed specifically for grade 10 French Immersion students as they have an innate ability to learn Spanish because of its similarities to French.  The course is highly interactive, with emphasis on making major progress with listening and speaking comprehension Spanish.  Reading and writing skills also develop significantly.  Explanations are given in French, and class discussions regarding culture, news and linguistics are also in French.  As the course progresses, students improve their speaking abilities in Spanish.   The nature of the class is highly immersive – students will be amazed at how quickly they progress.  By the end of the course, students will be speaking, reading and writing in both present and past tenses.  

Students will have the option of taking Espagnol 12 in grade 11 or 12.
