This semester-long class is open to students with all levels of music experience. Students will learn the basics of playing the guitar through studying music notation, chord symbols, tablature, and by ear. Students will also be encouraged to experiment with songwriting, independent guitar study, as well as playing the bass guitar, and drum set. The main objective of this course is to develop a deeper appreciation of music through playing guitar.
