Metalwork 11

This course is open to grades 10, 11, 12 and does not have prerequisites. Students will be able to work through at their own level whether it is introduction or a continuance of previous courses previously acquired comfort level and skills while extending the diversity of their abilities. This course is part of a career exploration pathway that includes woodwork, metalwork, power technology, electronics & robotics, and automotive. In their senior years, students will have the opportunity to engage in work experience in the trade of their choice. Senior students will also have access to college-level courses in these trades while still in high school. This course is an important step towards apprenticeships and trades qualifications
