Science 9
draws from biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science. It introduces important topics from each science, preparing students for Science 10 and the subject-specific sciences offered in grade 11. Topics include asexual and sexual reproduction (at the cellular level); the structure of the periodic table of elements and how elements are combined to make compounds; electric current; and the interconnectedness of the land, water, air and living things.
