Web Development 10

This course is designed to give students a view into the relationship between web structure and content (HTML), style and design, cascading style sheets (CSS) functionality and interactivity (Javascript). Students will begin designing webpages by using Adobe Dreamweaver and will also be utilizing the online free sites (Weebly, Wix) and WordPress. W3C standards will be covered along with copyright, creative commons and fair use protocols for media and content. This course is hands-on and project based. Students can choose to continue on from this course into the career path by taking ICT- Programming 11 and ICT – Programming 12 (Dual credit via Camosun) with work experience.
